Leighton and Kim recently celebrated thirty years of marriage. The story of how God saved their marriage twenty two years ago is a compelling testimony to the mercy of God. Through the grace of the sacrament, Leighton and Kim have discovered new life. Their family of seven has been the school of love in which they have been tested and tried and taught how to love.

The Drakes have extensive experience speaking to engaged and married couples. They have been part of the Diocese of Phoenix’s marriage preparation process, and were privileged to share their story at the annual Celebration of Marriage Event hosted by the Diocese of Phoenix.

Leighton and Kim are available to bring the Good News of Christ’s redeeming love to parishes and events with the goal of encouraging and equipping couples to live the sacrament of matrimony to the fullest, no matter the obstacles or history. Their marriage is a powerful witness to what God’s healing love can do when we turn to Him for help.

"I am the parish Secretary from St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, that was blessed by having the opportunity to experience and attend a three day Lenten Retreat given by Leighton Drake at our parish. I had attended a Mass in February celebrating Marriage with Bishop Olmsted officiating and Leighton and his wife Kim were the guest speakers at the luncheon afterwards. They touched my husband Tony and my heart deeply that day with their honesty and respect for the sacrament. All that I knew was that I needed to be fed more from their knowledge and wisdom.  Being able to have them at SMG for our parishioners during Lent was a gift and blessing to many.

Leighton draws you in from the opening prayer till the last amen. You are challenged to look at your life and deal with it through scripture in the gentlest of ways. I walked away from that retreat with a sense of healing that cleansed my soul deeply. Thank you, Leighton, for providing that gift and blessing to God's Flock. You are doing His work and we are so thankful for that. May God guide your path on your journey as you bring His word to others through prayer and art. You are truly amazing, dear friend."
